Healthy Christmas recipes desserts


2 large eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup canola oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup apricot preserves
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt


  • Preheat the oven to 350°. Take a large bowl and mix flour, almonds, sugar and oats.
  • Melt the butter in a pan, add the mixture to it and cook it over low flame till it turns golden brown.
  • Put it aside and let it cool for sometime. Now, evenly spread out the mixture in a pie plate to form a crust, and freeze it for sometime.
  • In another bowl whip the egg, sugar, yoghurt, lemon juice and vanilla till it blends smoothly. Pour the mixture to the pie plate and bake it for about half an hour.
  • Pour the apricot preserves on top of it and spread it evenly. Refrigerate it for about two hours and before serving cut it into wedges.


Healthy Christmas snack recipes

Banana Pops

3 bananas
6 Popsicle sticks
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup chopped peanuts

  • Peel the bananas and cut them lengthwise into half. Push a Popsicle stick through each half.
  • Now, spread the peanut butter on top of the bananas and then roll them in the chopped peanut.
  • Wrap the bananas with wax paper and refrigerate it for about three hours before serving.


Healthy Christmas appetizer recipes

Christmas blizzard

2 teaspoons syrup
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 1/2 ounces blended whisky
Fresh juice of 1/4 fresh lemon

  • Pour all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake it well.
  • Add some cracked ice and then strain the mixture to a glass. Put a slice of lemon on the top of the glass and the drink is ready.


Healthy Christmas cookie recipes

Almond and honey cookie

1 large egg
1 cup almonds
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
A few pinches of salt
2/3 cup plus 1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup canola oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Blend the almonds in the food processor. In a bowl put the flour, baking powder, salt and the blended almonds and mix them well. In another bowl mix the honey, butter and oil with an electric mixer.
  • After that, add the egg, the vanilla extract and blend till it is done very well.
  • Combine both the mixtures to make dough and then refrigerate it for about an hour.
  • Make balls from the dough, roll it out with a pin and use a cookie cutter to cut it out in various shapes. Put the cookies inside a baking tray and let it bake for about 20 minutes.
  • In another bowl blend some honey really well and add the sliced almonds. On top of each cookie pour a little honey along with the almond.


Quick healthy Christmas recipes


  • Bean sprout salad

4 tomatoes
2-4 Pickles
1/2 cup Corn
6 Spring onions
1 cup Bean sprouts
1/2 cup Green peas
Walnuts: 2 tbsp
1/2 cup Green Olives
2 tbsp Fresh parsley
Fresh lemon juice
Olive oil 2 tbsp
1 tsp Dried oregano

  • Boil the green peas and corn with a little salt. Chop onions, tomatoes, parsley, walnuts and pickles.
  • Now add the bean sprouts, green peas and corns to the chopped ingredients.
  • Add salt, pepper, squeezed lime juice and olive oil; mix well. Refrigerate it for about an hour and serve it cool.
