A few days ahead of Christmas, Santa Claus or Father Christmas starts preparing to undertake a journey across the world, delivering gifts to children. Mrs. Santa Claus and the elves assist in packing the gifts in the sleigh for the journey. Santa has a naughty or nice list with him; he gives away presents to all kids who have been nice. He comes to the house late at night (when everyone is asleep) by climbing down the chimney and puts the gift in the Christmas stockings that are left hanging by the fireplace.

Once the sleigh is ready, Santa mounts it with his joyful laughter Ho Ho Ho! and begins the long journey. The elves assist him during the ride; when they get tired and hungry, they eat the food left by children outside the house. So, don’t forget to bake some cookies and leave it outside the house with a bottle of milk for Santa and his helpers, they might get thirsty on the journey.

Santa Claus Games

  • Santa Claus games are a fun and exciting opportunity for kids to help Santa on his journey.
  • In some of the games Santa might need the help of children in reaching his sleigh which is placed inside a maze.
  • Sometimes Santa might be trapped because of the heavy snowfall and lose his way around.
  • In some of the Santa Claus games kids can help him in finding the right way; he has lots of houses to visit and lots of presents to deliver in a very short time.

Write to Santa

Encourage your kid to write to Santa, it can be an email or a letter. In the letters children may thank Santa for the gifts or ask for new gifts for next year. Kids can write down anything they want to tell to Santa and mail it across to him.

Santa Claus address is:

Santa Claus
1 Reindeer Lane
North Pole

Children can also hand deliver the letter to Santa when they meet him at the mall (if he is there). They can sit on his lap, click pictures, get presents and also tell him their wish which is in the letter.

Santa Claus Tracker

  • A few days before Christmas, Santa and the elves get busy preparing the sleigh for the big journey. There are so many houses to visit, so many wishes to be fulfilled and so many chimneys to be climbed down on the big night.
  • Kids can keep a track of where Santa is moving through the Santa Claus tracker and find out when he will be reaching their homes with the gifts.
  • You can get your little one involved in tracking Santa; they can find out the places he is visiting.

Santa Claus Picture

Can your child draw a Santa Claus picture?

  • Persuade him to draw (if he/she loves drawing) a Santa Claus picture, they can use this in a homemade Christmas card or just get it framed and put it up in the drawing room.
  • If Santa is at the mall near your house, kids can go there and get their pictures clicked with him. Santa Claus pictures can also be printed in your child’s clothes. The pictures can also be printed on mugs, cups and such other things.

Santa Claus is coming to town Lyrics

Santa Claus is coming to town is a very popular Christmas song. Kids love to sing this song in anticipation of Santa’s visit to town, the lyrics of the song goes like this:

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list,
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice.
Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out!
You better not cry.
Better not pout, I'm telling you why.
Santa Claus is coming to town.
